Whilst travel restrictions have temporarily waylaid our weekly departures for 2020
we have used this time effectively to make sure the Homestead is even better
once walks resume. As the focal point for the Southern Ocean Walk
it is our central base where you only unpack once.
The Homestead lies in its own secluded valley in Deep Creek Conservation Park giving
guests the opportunity to enjoy the nearby native flora and fauna even when ‘off trail’.
It is where we rest, recover and share the day’s adventures over a three course meal
made with ingredients sourced from local growers.
The forced closure has given us the opportunity to re-decorate this delightful residence.
In the cosy lounge we were fortunate to be able to procure some special furniture
pieces that continued the Art Deco theme befitting the property. The jarrah floors
in the kitchen and dining areas received a cut and polish which, together with new
colour schemes and curtains have added a whole new look. We also re-designed the
master bedroom en suite so that all guests now have access to multiple bathroom facilities.
These renovations have further cemented the Homestead’s place as the perfect
venue from which to experience the Southern Ocean Walk. We can’t wait to
share this very special experience with our guests in the near future.
