The months of June, July & August offer some of the best opportunities to see our trail in its full splendour.
Surrounded by a lush green scenery that would rival many Northern Hemisphere landscapes (but without the crowds!) you can be assured of spectacular vistas.

Flowing creeks, a lush waterfall and dense canopies of native forests form the backdrop for your 4 day adventure. Best of all walking in cool conditions is significantly less taxing on the body with less water carried during your walk making for an even lighter day pack.

This time of year also sees the emergence of many fungi in all their extraordinary shapes and sizes with Deep Creek National Park being somewhat of a ‘hotspot’ for this kingdom.
Here’s just a small sample of the many fungi that can be found in Deep Creek National Park. The diversity in shape, colour and size is truly astounding.

If you have always wanted to do this walk we still have opportunities for you to join us on our tours departing on Monday 26 June and Monday 10 July, 2023.
For these 2 departures we are offering a complimentary stay at the architecturally designed award winning Ridgetop Retreats in Deep Creek National Park prior to or after your tour.
